We’re looking for a Working Student Engineer / Developer to join our cutting-edge innovation team. You’ll be responsible for assisting the innovation lead with developing and building new solutions and driving results for our clients. The role involves building backend, server systems, cloud-based applications and application programming interfaces. The position is particularly interesting for those interested in the app industry, who want to get hands-on experience and potentially develop into an engineering role in a leading tech consultancy.
What will you be responsible for?
- Develop high-performing, scalable and innovative end-to-end web applications
- Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the best-suited technology, languages & frameworks for the project
- Build features such as web services and run database queries on existing tables
- Understand server environments: administration, performance parameters, maintenance, update cycles
- Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them
What skills should you have?
- Currently enrolled at a German university in programming, IT or related degree
- Understanding of Object Oriented Analysis and Design
- Knowledge in Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures and Mobile app development
- Knowledge of Relational Database implementation, operations, and scalability
- Diagnostics, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
