To expand our team we are looking for a User Interface Developer / Frontend Developer (f/m) at our office in Berlin.
Responsibilities:
- Build a solid foundation in markup languages (X)HTML, HTML5, XML. CSS3, JavaScript and relevant frameworks for a B2B marketplace platform
- Work with latest tools like Bootstrap and associated Preprocessors: Sass, Compass, Less
- Fast develop templates and web frameworks; Angular.js, JQuery
- Implement and guide development with an understanding & experience on: Cross-browser, cross-platform, cross-device functionality and accessibility issues
- Ability to work with real-time browser based communications
- Development infrastructure for cross device and responsive design
- Provide guidance in adaptive design and the multi device experience
- Provide knowledge and input on UX design principles and active contribution towards usability topics
- Rapidly prototype working HTML and CSS based on simple wireframe models
- Coordinate and implement the utilisation of modern grid systems, modular CSS and markup components
- Ensure the adoption of latest performance practices
- Mentor and lead first rate execution in front end development
Experience:
- Conversant with typical graphic software, like Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- Have experience working in an Agile environment
- Entrepreneurial spirit with ability to deliver under minimum supervision
- Contribute towards the front-end development strategy
- Keeping up-to-date with new and innovative initiatives in front end development
- Understanding web analytics and usability testing standards
- Experience with A/B testing and similar user testing scenarios.
- Understanding commits/GitHub
- Creative Design skills considered an advantage
