Our mission ist to reinvent manufacturing by transforming the one-dimensional production line into a scalable, flexible grid of production modules and replacing the conveyor belt by autonomous mobile robots.
Responsibilities:
- You design robust and reliable solutions for the most modern perception problems
- You take over the generation of simulations that target specific challenges
- You build learning approaches that adapt the algorithms in the presence of data
- You take over the quantification of the performance and safety characteristics of an autonomous mobile robot
- You decide on on-board software development with improved tools and visualization
Your Profile – Skills:
- MS/PHD in Computer Science, Robotics, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience and 5+ years experience in at least one of: robotics research in motion planning and control, data analysis at scale, machine learning at scale
- Proven experience programming in C++ and with robust, safety-critical, efficient code
- Expert knowledge of solving software problems using geometry and linear algebra
- Extensive experience in working with simulation and short time to market cycles
- Wide understanding in designing and building state of the art machine learning algorithms
- Passion about autonomous mobile robots
- Motivated, self-starter that is able to work both independently and in cooperation with a larger team and fluent in written and oral English
