We are looking for Senior Front-end Developers to join our team in Berlin!

We are Wimdu, a cool start-up headquartered in the heart of Berlin. Initially funded with $90 million, Wimdu has grown to host over 150.000 properties in over 100 countries worldwide, and is on track to become Europe’s leading marketplace for private accommodation. Wimdu has the vision, the passion, and the people to succeed, and we’re looking for motivated folks to join our international crew.
Technical Requirements:
– You have at least three years of commercial experience as a front-end dev
Must have: CSS3, html5, object-oriented JavaScript, and Test-driven-development
Nice to have: Coffescript, Sass, Haml, Backbone, Jasmine, Rails, Require-js
Personal Skills:
– Self-motivated and interest in the latest technology
– Work well as part of a team
– Introduce new ideas
The Opportunity:
In “wimdugeneering” we are a great group of around 30 people based in Wimdu’s main office in Kreuzberg, Berlin.
We work in teams of 5-6 people, apply lean kanban principles to our process, focus on building a minimum viable product and iterating. We love to ship. That’s why we refresh our staging and production clusters multiple times a day.

Berlin is ranked among the 10 most liveable cities worldwide, and is according to its Mayor “poor but sexy”. With its unique flair, culture, history, and party scene, Berlin is probably Europe’s most current “place to be”. Since 2008 more than 1300 internet Startups have been founded in Berlin. Become a part of this startup community and join our office, located right at the “Maybachufer” in the famous and vibrant Kreuzberg quarter.
If you are moving from outside Berlin, we will help you / and your family with relocation issues. We have an HR
team to help with this and hands on experience from doing this ourselves.
