We’re looking for an experienced, passionate RAILS Developer with outstanding technical skills who loves to work in a fast-growing and innovative-thinking environment.
Your Responsibilities
• Establishing, leading, and overseeing all relevant Ruby/RAILS processes to achieve the company’s vision and strategy
• Development, implementation, and enhancements of solutions
• Deliver innovative improvements and solution in a timely manner
• Technical responsibility for projects
• Identification, testing and fixing of all performance issues
• Maintaining a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability, and emerging technologies
• Constantly seeking to develop yourself by learning new technologies and keeping abreast of your market developments
Your Qualifications
• At least 3 years working with RAILS
• Knowledge of other Ruby Frameworks (eg: Sinatra)
• Knowledge of Postgres and Mongo or Couch DB
• Expert in HTML5, CSS3, JS/AJAX techniques and JavaScript
• Expert in SQL
• Designing RESTful Webservices must come naturally
• Page load optimization
• Basic knowledge of SEO is a plus
• Ability in determining the right path when faced with ambiguous situations
• You are attracted to challenges with a “can-do” and “hands on” attitude
• Fluent in Linux/UNIX
• Fluent in English and German
