Visual Meta GmbH is an innovative e-commerce company based in the heart of Berlin, which has grown rapidly since being founded in 2009. In 2011 our company was acquired by the Axel Springer Group, Germany’s leading publishing house.
We run shopping platforms named LadenZeile and ShopAlike worldwide, offering fashion, furniture and a variety of other products to our users. Our service is used by thousands of daily visitors and an ever-increasing number of partner shops.
We are looking for a “Product Manager Frontend (m/f)” who is excited by the challenge of driving our products to the next level. We’re seeking a digital visionary who shares the excitement for our mission to provide comparison shopping on a global scale. The aim is to take our product to the next level and to create a cutting edge product portfolio. You will be writing specifications, prioritize features, and coordinate product schedules with a team of great developers, product managers and designers.
Your profile:
- 1-3 years’ experience in product management, ideally in the e-commerce sector
- Proven experience in working with agile methodologies, ideally Scrum
- Good understanding of UX/UI design and A/B testing across desktop, tablet and mobile devices
- Good project management skills and being able to deliver great product features
- Solid technical understanding, ideally hands-on experience in software development/web technologies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Team oriented way of working and strong communication skills, being able to efficiently work in cross-functional teams
- Open minded personality that loves to improve and learn new things, combined with a “getting-things-done-mentality”
- Analytical mindset, data-driven as well as a structured and organized working manner
Your responsibilities:
- Creating ideas/concepts for new features and being responsible for their execution and timely delivery
- Collecting and evaluating feature requests as well as working on solutions for bugs, constantly improving our features
- Analyzing the user impact of product features, defining key metrics for success and optimizing user flows using controlled experiments and user testing
- Conducting usability studies, user research and market analysis incorporating your findings into your daily work
- Working closely with senior product managers, the design team, different levels of stakeholders and developers throughout the development process
