Our product team builds the UI that is the entrance point to deep battery knowledge: real-time dashboards, data visualizations, core site functionality, and the design systems and tools that power the platform. This UI makes the data we collect and analyze easy for users to understand and act on. To strengthen our team, we’re looking for a UI/UX Designer (m/f/d) with a passion for building intuitive user interfaces that make complex tech insightful at a glance. You’ll join at an ideal time to make a big impact. You’ll be involved in every step of the process—defining product, collaborating with PMs and engineers, and researching, prototyping and scaling design.
Your daily business will involve
- Working with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to understand how our customers use our software and what they need to succeed
- Seeing your design work through from start to finish: turn insights from user research into ideas, sketch and prototype to bring them to life, and ship products and features
- Working closely with software developers, data scientists and battery engineers to understand how your designs will be built
- Working in a rapidly changing, high-growth startup environment
- Contributing to a motivated tight-knit team solving hard problems the right way
Requirements
- You have 3+ years of experience in B2B digital product design
- Your portfolio includes interaction design work on web applications
- You have worked on technical products and data visualizations
- You have built SaaS, enterprise software, or developer tools
- You are relentlessly focused on the end user and their experience in the product
- You know how to balance risk and focus to deliver imaginative and viable designs
- You understand cloud infrastructure and have ideally experience with platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
