This is what we do:
We are a Startup who aims to develop the first outstanding app for gyms which implements their training plans. In order to do this we need to expand our team and are looking for a part-time Backend Developer (m/f/d) to join us in Wernau (near Stuttgart/ Esslingen).
Your Tasks:
As Backend Developer (m/f/d) you will support our development team, especially in drafting, implementing and the documentation of APIs in the fitness industry.
- You take care of new developments and improvements of our workflow, data bases and interface systems
- You are responsible for linking external interface systems into our software solutions
- You work with existing protocols and data formats: HTTP/S, XML, SOAP, REST, JSON
- You continuously improve existing systems in our backend department
- You guarantee scalability and performance
- You will participate in agile development processes in sprint-cycle
- You will use our modern frameworks based on container technologies
Your Profile – Hard Skills:
- You have a completed Degree in Computer Science/ Media Information or you have completed an apprenticeship as an IT Specialist with excellent grades
- You excel with your advanced programming skills in: C#, SQL, Node.js
- You have an extented knowledge of a broad range of technology stacks for data focused development (for example: relational and NOSQL-Databases, data-driven architecture, APIs)
- Preferably, you know a bit about container technologies (Docker und Kubernetes)
- You ideally have already gained project experience within SCRUM surroundings
Your Profile – Soft Skills:
- You use your analytic and conceptual competencies to quickly understand and solve complex issues
- You have an affinity for analysing as well as recognising complex correlations
- You stand out through your problem solving skills and a get-it-done mentality
- You possess the ability and willingness to share your knowledge with the team
- You are a team player in an agile developer team (SCRUM)
- You are always happy to work responsibly and independent
