Mediasur Labs GmbH is seeking for a highly talented, motivated and driven individual with a genuine passion for web technologies. You will be responsible for developing high quality eCommerce solutions using Magento. This full-time position is based in Berlin, starting as soon as possible.
About the company:
We are a young, multinational, enthusiastic and fun team, based in the heart of Berlin-Mitte. Mediasur Labs is a company builder founded in late 2014, with an international focus on building eCommerce platforms.
Your tasks:
- You will build eCommerce solutions from scratch by adapting Magento´s best practices while meeting business requirements
- You will design and develop new pages and continuously update and improve end-user experience with an eye on improving performance
- You will be responsible for search-engine optimization and functionality, as well as testing, monitoring and documenting user needs while fixing all technical problems
- Understanding short and long term business goals and recommending solutions
- Developing custom modules for integration into ERP, accounting, fulfillment and marketing systems
Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any related field
- 2+ years of job related experience (eCommerce is preferred)
- Advanced experience on Magento Platforms
- CSS, HTML5 as well as MySQL database administration skills
- Developed knowledge of SEO principles
- Excellent problem solving skills
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset and thrive in a fast moving startup environment
- You are open, communicative and enjoy working independently
Nice To Have:
- Magento Developer Certification, JQuery, XML, MVC Frameworks (e.g. Zend Framework)
