As IT Security Expert (m/f/d) you will contribute to our cybersecurity program. You will be working with information security standards and approved industry best practices and be involved in coaching and training activities.
Your Tasks include:
- Create awareness on information security on all organizational levels.
- Develop documentation and trainings for teams. Train clients or colleagues in conducting penetration testing.
- Receive, coordinate response to and analyze security incidents to prevent damage and their recurrence.
- Propose security improvements and measures, budget and resources required.
- Drive proactive solutions to minimize security exposures and mitigate risks.
- Develop, refine and ensure adherence to security best practices.
- Monitor outsourced services compliance to established security requirements.
- Conduct manual and automated security code reviews
- Compile the overarching security goals for the organization.
Your Skills:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of various recognised standards (NIST, ISO 27001/27002 etc) and have CISSP, SSCP, CISM, ISO27001 or other relevant certifications
- Strong background in IT with a clear understanding of the challenges of information security.
- Proven experience as trainer / coach.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and fix security risks.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to build understanding and awareness of security issues throughout the organization.
- Good team working skills to develop security solutions in collaboration with the team
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux and Unix as well as experience with products in the field of penetration testing (Kali, etc.)
- Practical experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, PowerShell.
- Very good written and spoken English and desirable German language skills.
