Develop and support boundary applications with the focus on:

Work closely with the business / functional representatives from HR & FIN and the global IT Application and development teams.

Develop, test, document, implement and deploy changes according to IT policies and processes
Design and align solutions according to business requirements
Reviews business requirements documentation
Participates in analyzing, designing, writing, and testing code
Produces written test cases for new application development and system enhancements.
Performs testing of new application development and enhancements
Produces internal development documentation as needed
Analyze and resolve support issues related to the HR and FIN applications
Performs maintenance coding (i.e. bug-fixing) on existing applications.
Provides technical backing to the support team to troubleshoot end-user problems
Performs other job-related duties as needed

Essential Requirements:

Computer Science or Engineering Degree or equivalent with >5 years’ experience in application development
Strong Programming knowledge
Strong JAVA Web application development knowledge and System integration
General Database knowledge (PostGres, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle)
General understanding of database stored procedures (PL/SQL, PLPGSQL, T-SQL)
General Operating system knowledge (OS)
Experience as an Administrator or script developer in an OLAP environment
Strong analytical skills in solving technical issues
Experience and knowledge on business processes in HR and FIN
Fluent English communication skills: verbal, written and with technical documentation
Programming Languages required are: JAVA, C#, Javascript/CSS/HTML, Linux shell
Programming frameworks required are: Spring, JSF, Microsoft .NET framework, JQuery

Preferred requirements:

Experience on Essbase
Knowledge of Windows Batch Scripting and PowerShell scripting
Experience with Project Management techniques and associated tools to facilitate
Good self-management and coordination skills
Ability to work with people across different countries, cultures and at different levels
Good communicator and presentation skills
Willingness to travel
