You maintain, optimize and develop new code for our Ruby on Rails application: A dashboard that serves as user interface for the BMS with a MongoDB database and an AngularJS frontend
You research, develop and optimize the control algorithms for the buildings
You improve design and architecture of the distributed applications and services
You implement interfaces for building protocols and new sensors and actuators
You identify and develop monitoring for the buildings
You automate creation of the building model from building data, on case by case and global scales
You improve the stack through suggestions gained from experience or by researching and benchmarking new technologies
You document your work

You are experienced in an interpreted language like Python or Ruby, software architecture, data structures and design patterns, algorithms and algorithm development
You are able to write maintainable and readable code
You hold knowledge in NoSQL databases, a web framework like Rails, Django and a frontend framework like Angular, Vue, etc.
You are interested in the startup culture
You can work independently and are self-organized
You are familiar with testing
Experience in AngularJS, Ruby (on Rails), MongoDB, Big data technologies and techniques as well as network and system administration is desirable
Ideally you have startup experience, experience in artificial intelligence / machine learning, DevOps, Data science and Distributed cloud architecture
