Front-end Developer for CRES venture
CRES is the first worldwide venture accelerator for Internet and mobile business models in the area of Local Commerce. Established in 2012 by former CityDeal (Groupon International) founders Daniel Glasner and Philipp Magin, CRES develops, builds, scales and internationalizes business models with a focus on the rapidly expanding market segment of Local Commerce. The previous decade has been shaped by search engines (Google), marketplaces (eBay, Amazon) and social networks (Facebook). Now the future is Local Commerce – the fastest growing market on the Internet!
We’re looking for an experienced, passionate Front-end Developer with outstanding technical skills who loves to work in a fast-growing and innovative-thinking environment.
Your Responsibilities
• Lead all aspects of technological development to achieve business goals
• Establish, lead and overseeing all relevant processes to achieve the company’s vision and strategy
• Deliver innovative improvements and solution in a timely manner
• Manage interactions with designer and supervise implementation
• Identification, testing and fixing of all performance issues
• Maintaining a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability, and emerging technologies
• Constantly seeking to develop yourself by learning new technologies and keeping abreast of your market developments
Your Qualifications
• Expert in HTML5, CSS3, JS/AJAX techniques and JavaScript
• Expert in developing a server-side language (Ruby, Python, PHP, etc.)
• Experienced in User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX)
• Ability in determining the right path when faced with ambiguous situations
• You have worked at all levels of the technology stack
• You are attracted to challenges with a “can-do” and “hands on” attitude
• You are Fluent in English and German
