Job Description:
As part of the MSP430 Digital IP Design Team, you have the opportunity to work in a creative and innovative environment while creating the world’s lowest power microcontroller. Your focus is to verify digital circuits in order to meet performance, power, quality, and schedule requirements of our customers. Your challenge will be to achieve the goal of first pass silicon success combined with on-time delivery. In order to achieve these goals you will work hand in hand with engineering teams in a world-wide organization. We are looking for a highly motivated verification engineer, who can bring experience to our already thriving MSP430 team.
The verification engineer’s responsibilities include:
- Definition and planning of verification strategy for digital and mixed-signal IP’s and SOC’s.
- Verification environment creation, regression testing, debugging and reporting of results.
- Ensure verification completes on schedule and meets quality goals.
- Documentation and support over complete IP/SoC development cycle.
- Continuous development of verification methodology for improvement of quality and efficiency.
- Collaboration in cross-functional development teams
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in electrical engineering or similar
- Professional experience in digital verification of IP/SoC projects
- Professional experience with Cadence Incisive tools or similar tools from other EDA vendors
- Hands-on expertise in constrained-random verification methodologies (eRM/OVM/VMM/UVM)
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas would be a plus:
- Metric-Driven verification (eplanner, vmanager)
- Formal verification methodologies
- Modeling of analog circuits
- Experience in digital circuit design
- Hardware/Software Co-Verification
- Microcontroller architectures and programming (Assembler, C, C++)
- Team player with good communication skills and proven ability to collaborate with people from different functions, cultures, and sites in order to complete objectives
- Proficient verbal and written English skills
