We’re looking for an experienced, passionate, cutting-edge Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Co- Founder with outstanding leadership and technical skills who is dedicated to building the next explosive growth business with us.
As a skilled former hacker, thoroughbred engineer and leader who is obsessed with constantly reinventing him/herself and the product, you establish and provide the company with the world’s best development team and promote a new culture of excellence with your hands-on mentality and innovative business thinking.
Your Responsibilities
• You are a member of the founding team
• You establish and control the company’s product vision and IT strategy
• You promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, entrepreneurship, and overall excellence within and around the product and IT organization
• You lead in ALL aspects of technological development to achieve business objectives
• You deliver product improvements and features in a timely manner with high customer acceptance and satisfaction
• You assume the overall responsibility for the success of the platform operation in multiple markets and countries
• You are the next Larry Page
Your Qualifications
• You are a founder with a series of successful exits, a committed leader and a team motivator with a positive attitude
• You have 7+ years’ experience as a developer and programming experience using any of these technologies: PHP, javascript, jQuery, python, Drupal, C++, java, C#, WordPress, etc.
• You possess expertise in managing and leading a fluid development process in a fast moving, web-based environment and overseeing a team of developers and product designers
• You have years of experience cultivating developer talent through recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and performance-improvement management
• You have the productive efficiency to work cross-functionally and comfortably at a fast pace
• You have the ability to determine the right course of action when faced with ambiguous situations, lack of complete data, and the need to prioritize among multiple possible paths in a time-sensitive manner
