CRES is the first worldwide venture accelerator for Internet and mobile business models in the area of Local Commerce. Established in 2012 by former CityDeal (Groupon International) founders Daniel Glasner and Philipp Magin, CRES develops, builds, scales and internationalizes business models with a focus on the rapidly expanding market segment of Local Commerce. The previous decade has been shaped by search engines (Google), marketplaces (eBay, Amazon) and social networks (Facebook). Now the future is Local Commerce – the fastest growing market on the Internet!
We’re looking for a passionate, visionary leader to join our team and define the product strategy for a young and fast-developing start-up. The Chief Product Officer (CPO) will lead the design and definition of all their products, services, and features. He will advocate product initiatives through the entire life cycle from idea and initiation through all phases of development, testing, launch, evaluation and ongoing enhancement.
You will be responsible for the design of a product that will rapidly become a global brand. That’s why we’re looking for a highly energetic, experienced professional with a love for Design and User Experience. A background in mobile product development is a plus.
Your Responsibilities
· Implement your own ideas while building a world-class web & mobile application together with your engineering team
· Forge, establish, lead, and oversee all relevant new product ideas and, by this, create, implement, and improve a perfect customer solution in a timely manner
· Bring to life whatever A-B testing, heat maps and focus groups tell you
· Be foolish and in love with technology!
Your Qualifications
· Expert in UX with a strong technical orientation
· Very profound knowledge in managing UX/UI and development resources on a project basis to deliver the initial product and future improvements
· You are able to take a product from wireframes to visual design to functional prototype
· You understand that successful products must find the happy place between great user experiences and real business!
· Advanced understanding of software product management methodology and tools
· Analytical in approach, a tenacious and resourceful problem solver and fact-based in decision making
